This game was really something special. The message about change and forgiveness was really sweet. I wasn't expecting to find such a sweet game based around a hitman, that's for sure. The graphics and the flowers were beautifully designed, and the dialogue was well put together. The only complaint I would have (if you could call it that) is that the words 'no' and 'one' are stuck together fairly frequently, presumably to say 'no one'. It tripped me up a couple of times, though it is a fairly quick fix and doesn't have much of an impact on gameplay. Overall, a very beautiful peaceful game.

Amazing. Simply perfect.

absolutely incredible id give up my left leg to play this for the first time again

amazing game!!! beautiful art and made me more curious to learn about flower language. i encountered 1 error, when i clicked a leaf to use it, if i tried to rotate it before i moved the leaf closer to the bouquet i got the fatal error message someone else mentioned. i restarted the game and made sure to move the leaves before rotating them and i didn't encounter it again!

oh goodness...this was wonderful, the story, the dialogue, the graphics and the characters- it was all so exceptionally well thought out and lovely!!

honestly, the ending even made me tear up a little bit :') excellent job you guys!

I loved your game, I appreciated the flower arranging and meanings on another level. I'm a flower lover and even have textbooks full of flowers, so I was really into the meanings and what the arrangements meant. The story was entertaining though I was an asshole. I did like my ending too :)

it tells me this, it doesn't make me finish my bouquet :(  ''

how do you finish making your arrangement I pressed everything I couldn't do anything after I put the flowers in??

When al the flowers and decorations are on the vase, a button saying "DONE" will appear next to the vase. Check if all the flowers and decorations are in contact with the vase.

my last flower... I was on the brink of tears when I got my first ending

I played the compiled version found in Essays on Empathy along with a documentary and an art gallery that includes a spreadsheet walkthrough of flower consequences. Great stuff.

A beautiful, atmospheric game that uses flowers as symbolism, guiding through the process of grief, love, and hope. The contrast between the lack of empathy that Gordon experiences as a hitman, and the domesticity of working in the last genuine flowershop. This really got to me <3

(+4)

Nunca imaginé que algo visualmente sencillo me llegase tanto. El sentimiento de ir por la mitad del juego y atisbar por unos segundo que probablemente esa flor que quede será la que depare el destino de Gordon es maravilloso. Me gustó harto! Gracias por crear esta pequeña obra.

Great experience! Gorgeous pixel art, excellent music.

Right, so I found and played this game about a year ago now and have been searching for it ever since. I am overjoyed to have found this lovely game again, though I won't be able to play it on my new Apple computer lol

(+3)

maybe you can play it on steam, as it is part of the developer's game collection 'Essays on Empathy'

(+2)

Sick, I'll give that a try. Thank you!

amazing game - great story, love the characters! the flower arrangement is fun too

Fucking beautiful game, can’t describe it any other way. The characters, the plot, the gameplay mechanic… all just right. I’m definitely the target demographic for this game—a gay(tm) who likes to read about the meaning of flowers—so I might be biased, but not really. This game is perfect. I am satisfied with the ending I got, too.

These are the bouquets I made, in case you care to know: warm razor, fallen hero, agape, and judecca.

Play this game!

(+4)

You are not biased. I am straight and never before have taken much interest in the language of flowers, but this game has shaken me to my core.

Elegant and ruthless in creating a story with real emotion using only the simplest and most understandable mechanics. Like a well crafted bit of poetry.

It manages to give agency, narrative, emotion, while at the same time forcing a certain tone of tragedy and sacrifice.

Beautifully done.

I really liked this! I would love to be able to contribute to you guys, is there a way to donate?

Holy wow ... this game was so good! I absolutely loved learning about the flowers and arranging them in beautiful ways. The story itself was amazing, it definitely had be curious to learn even more. The music was so good!

And man the ending almost had me in tears ... and as a gay trans male, some of the things said hit a bit closer than I ever expected haha

Really good game, loved it so much!!

I cannot express how astonishing the game was... The relationship between Sebastian and Gordon was beautiful. Each time you took out a flower, it just felt like some part of you was leaving. Each time you heard that sound, you would know that your choice was final and that there was no going back. With such little dialogue, gameplay and changes, you would get to know so much about these characters with the types of flowers you choose and the choices you make. I feel like I did the right choice for every person, taking the meaning of the flowers into consideration. In the end, I got to give Sebastian the final flower— the pink camellia. I feel like the visuals fit this type of game best. The music was very atmospheric and calming, and the sfx were matched perfectly when plucking the flowers. I loved the game to it's core and I'd also love to see more games like this.

I really like learning the meaning of flowers. Somehow the ending is sad, leaving me feeling empty after completing this game. Asphodel - the 2nd from the left - is my favorite, I like the meaning.

(+3)

Truly a beautiful and moving experience. Thank you for making and sharing it.

absolutely adored this game. the twists both surprised and delighted me

Saw a gameplay by John Wolfe, this game is amazing! So moving and pristine... Feels like you really can appreciate the beauty of the flowers for eternity.. Amazing game!

Playing Eternal Home Floristry was such a immersive and soothing experience! I loved the story, the characters, and the fact that you're actually making bouquets of flowers!

(+4)

(+2)

(+3)

as usual for Deconstructeam, this game was so impactful despite how short it was. I love how the flowers influence the story, and how Sebastion and Gordon interact. Really amazing.

this game... I just... wow, its beautiful. also once I finished and went back to replay I noticed that some flowers were missing, including the one I left on the grave. idk I find it interesting that the amount of each flower sometimes changes.  anyway this is genuinely one of the best games I've played on here.

(+5)

I never leave any comments, but i have to do it this time. So good.

Had the chance to try this on Windows. Utterly stunning creation. Just wonderful. I did have the problem of not having anywhere to put accents from the workbench if I didn't want to put them in the pot, but I was happy to restart and go through the dialog again. Thanks for this.

(+2)

I love the emotions you managed to fit in such a short story. Well done!
